Season's Greetings! - A close on the end of the 2024 season.

The #15 Miata trailing the #31 Miata in a multi-class time trial at Putnam Park Road Course (Greencastle, IN)

Alas, the times of hot laps and blistering tires have come to a close. No longer are the 80+ degree days with the top down among us, instead cloudy, wet, and snowy days are yet to come.

Overall, our team's efforts exceeded expectations. They fought through mechanical failure after mechanical failure at Road America and NCM, worn-out equipment at Mid-Ohio, and surged through the end of the season at Putnam Park and GingerMan.

The #15 NA Miata powered its way through a losing battle against the Leader-In-Class #37 NC Miata, Ultimately, the 17-year-newer NC and its extremely experienced driver outdrove our team at every track. Overall, we powered the freshly rebuilt car beyond expectations in a season field of 10 drivers and vehicles.

The #15 Miata @ South Haven Beach

After all the car's drama, mechanical failures, and a last-minute hail mary, our team traveled over 2000 Miles, or about 30 hours of driving, countless snacks, and off-key songs, we completed the full schedule, less a few pounds of rubber, and a small hit to our sanity.

This season's results were greater than expected, tallying up 3 3rd-place finishes, and 4 2nd-place finishes. With all that said, the E1 Autosport Team has finished Runners-Up in the Championship. Yet another (albeit smaller) banner to hang in the rafters! This season ranks as our 2nd most successful, after our Championship in 2022, and before our partial season in 2023.

Thanks to our sponsors MartiniWorks, EngineIce, Ogio, and GoPro, as well as Series Sponsors Graham Rahal Performance, Forgeline Wheels, and Vitour Tire for their support in making the longest IndySCCA schedule to date happen. And a special thanks to the crew, Holly, Zach, Landen, and Noah for all their hard work this season.

The team also extends a final thanks to the supporters we have had along the way. Without them, we would not be able to grow and entertain the many who tune into our shenanigans.

We'll see you on the track next season! #teame1

-Michael
